Niels Simonsen

Niels Simonsen currently serves as the Head of FP&A at Nordic Solar A/S since October 2024. Previously, Niels held the position of Director of Finance & FP&A at LogPoint from November 2022 to September 2024, and served as CFO at Penni.io, where responsibilities included leadership, financial planning, outsourcing functions, and fundraising among others. Niels also functioned as the Head of Finance at Templafy, overseeing a growing team and implementing new ERP systems. Prior experience includes roles at PwC, where Niels managed transaction services and audits, Deloitte as a senior associate auditor, and earlier positions in auditing. Niels holds a State Authorized Public Accountant degree from FSR - Danish Public Accounting Association, along with advanced degrees from Copenhagen Business School and Aalborg University.
