Hugo Barateiro

Hugo Barateiro has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hugo is currently working as a Project Manager at Nordic Unmanned since April 2022. Previously, they served as a Project Manager - New Product Development at Emerson from September 2019 to February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Manager Planning and Engineering at Bilfinger Industrier Norge AS from January 2019 to June 2019.

From 2013 to 2018, Hugo held the position of Senior Project Engineer at Apply Sørco AS (Moreld Apply), where they managed the execution of multiple call-offs simultaneously and was responsible for establishing project design basis and scope of work. Hugo also monitored and controlled the cost of the projects.

Before that, Hugo worked at Roxar, Emerson Process Management as a Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing projects related to Subsea/Topside Acoustic Sand/Pig detectors, WaterCut meters, and Multiphase meters. Hugo also worked as an Electrical Engineer / CAD designer at Lighter S.A.– Engineering & Architecture from February 2005 to July 2005. Hugo started their career as a Technical Assistant at Novabase from 2000 to 2002.

Hugo Barateiro has a strong educational background in the field of physics. Hugo began their education in 1996 at the University of Lisbon, where they pursued a 5-year degree in Physics Engineering.
