Shin N. has extensive work experience in venture capital and investment roles. They are currently a Managing Partner at NordicNinja VC, where they support scale-up goals in the New Nordics and oversee the middle and back office operations of the fund. Shin N. is also a Partner at Industrial Growth Platform Inc. Additionally, Shin N. serves as an Advisor to the Japanese Data Center for Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation (JDCHCT), providing management advice to help stabilize and grow the organization's data registry platform for patients with severe hematological diseases. They are an Investor and ex-Board Member at Starship Technologies, a leading autonomous driving technology company, and also serve as an Investor and Board Member at Combinostics, which provides AI-based tools for early diagnosis and management of neurodegenerative diseases. Shin N. is an Investor and Board Member at Flexound The Augmented Audio Company, which delivers immersive sound experiences, as well as an Investor at Varjo, Annotell, Mavenoid, and Veriff, where they support global expansion and the development of verification platforms.

Shin N. completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management at the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Law from The University of Tokyo, studying from 2001 to 2006. It is also worth noting that they have an additional certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, obtained from the Cambridge Judge Business School.
