Juha Ylinen

Juha Ylinen is a Senior R&D Engineer at Nordic Semiconductor since August 2022, with a robust background in software engineering and development. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Software Engineer at Unikie and Arm, where significant contributions were made in areas such as Mbed OS connectivity and Ethernet over USB networking. At VeriSilicon, Juha was involved in the integration of Hantro video codec into multimedia frameworks and provided worldwide customer support. Previous positions at Google focused on optimizing hardware and software video codecs, while earlier career stages at On2 Technologies and Nokia Siemens Networks encompassed software video codec development and power amplifier algorithm specification, respectively. Juha holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oulu.
