Agrita Garnizone

Agrita Garnizone is currently the Head of Data at Nordigen. Prior to their current role, they served as a Senior Data Science Consultant at Deloitte from September 2018 to April 2019. In this role, they were part of the Analytics & Information Management team specializing in consulting companies towards innovative solutions for business challenges and full life-cycle implementation of Data Science projects, including solution integration into existing business processes.

As a Senior Data Scientist at Accenture from September 2015 to August 2018, Agrita was responsible for the implementation of a multi-class object detection system that notifies subscribers whenever the system recognizes pre-defined target objects. Objects are detected and recognized using computer vision and machine learning algorithm capabilities where a Deep neural network model is trained on gathered and labeled data sets.

Agrita has also coached client's Data Science teams in various Data Science topics such as data imputation methods, optimization methods, collaborative data science work, etc. and has organized internal Data Science Knowledge Exchange sessions.

Agrita is skilled in R, Python, Spark (sparklyR, pySpark), and the Hadoop ecosystem.

Agrita Garnizone has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Latvijas Universitate, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the same school. Agrita also has a Big Data Analyst certificate from Latvijas Universitate. In addition, they have certification from Coursera in Machine Learning Data Lifecycle in Production, Introduction to Machine Learning in Production, Natural Language Processing with Classification and Vector Spaces, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and from the University of Latvia Faculty of Computing in Certificate of Excellence.
