Thomas Christensen

Thomas Christensen is the CEO of Nordija, a position they have held since July 1999. Thomas is also a cofounder of the company. Prior to their current role, Christensen served as the CTO of 24i from June 2021 to June 2022. Thomas has also been a board member of Trifork Projects Copenhagen from December 2008 to May 2012.

Christensen began their career as a system engineer with Ramboll in January 1995. Thomas then moved to UBS Warburg in January 1996 before joining Terma A/S as a system architect in May 1997. Thomas remained with Terma until July 1999 when they assumed their current role with Nordija.

During their time with Nordija, Christensen has been responsible for setting up sales channels and partners, marketing and tradeshows, and doing product presentations and speaking of the future of tv at various conferences. Thomas has also done extensive research and development in how to deliver TV and video services. In addition, Christensen has pushed out the world's first cloud TV service delivery platform and managed the ecosystem of integrated components. Thomas has also been responsible for the strategic development of the company and traveled around the world to meeting customers and collaborators.

Thomas Christensen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School in the field of business strategy and entrepreneurial finance. Thomas also has an MBA from London Business School in business administration and management. Additionally, they have a computer science specialist certification from Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College and a computer assistant certification from the same school. Thomas's undergraduate education was in mathematics and social science from Stenhus Gymnasium. Thomas also has a yacht master certification from the Danish Maritime Authority.
