Bobby Odenhag has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Bobby started their career at Landskrona kommun, where they worked as an Energiingenjör, responsible for selling district heating, managing expansion projects, and providing energy advice. Bobby then became the Distributionschef Fjärrvärme, overseeing the district heating network, sales, installations, and maintenance. After that, they were promoted to Värmechef, responsible for all aspects of district heating, including production, maintenance, network expansion, and sales.
Bobby then moved to Skånska Energi AB, working as an Utvecklingschef and later as the Affärsområdeschef Elhandel. In these roles, they managed the development projects of solar panels, solar collectors, and heat pumps. Bobby also led the energy sales division, including purchasing, billing, and customer service.
After their tenure at Skånska Energi AB, Bobby joined Pöyry Sweden AB as the Sektionschef Thermal, where they had overall responsibility for the Thermal division in southern Sweden. This role included areas such as thermal power and heat technology, energy system studies, district heating/cooling, and energy gases.
Bobby then transitioned to Kraftringen, where they held various positions. Bobby initially worked as the Sektionschef Produktionsoptimering & Energiinköp, responsible for optimizing the company's district heating, district cooling, and electricity production. Later, they became the Driftchef, responsible for the operation and optimization of Kraftringen's energy facilities, as well as goal setting for the department.
Currently, Bobby is the Head of Gas grid/Gasnätschef at Nordion Energi since 2023.
Bobby Odenhag obtained their Gymnasieexamen in the field of Naturvetenskaplig linje from Söderslättsgymnasiet, from 1992 to 1994. Following that, they pursued a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University for the period of 1995 to 2001.
