Karin Zandrén's work experience begins in 2001 as a Nordic Project Manager for GE International, where they led the project of outsourcing payroll services for Nordic GE businesses. Karin then moved on to GE Capital in 2002, where they had various roles including Online Marketing & Digital Program Manager and Trainee in the European Management Development Program. In 2008, they joined Citi as a Commercial Product Manager, responsible for product management, marketing, and process improvement. In 2009, they joined TF Bank AB (publ) as the Head of Marketing and Business Development, and later took on roles as Business Development Director and Country Manager Sweden. In 2019, they became an Advisory Board/Senior Consultant for Popperpay, and in 2020, they joined Nordnet Bank AB as the Head of Lending Products.
Karin Zandrén completed their Bachelor of Science degree in International Business, with a specialization in Finance and French, at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg from 1996 to 2001.
In 1999, Karin also participated in an ERASMUS program at ESSCA, where they studied International Business and Marketing.
In 2004, Karin obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from GE Capital.
In terms of professional development, Karin attended the Manager and Leader program at Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education in 2011-2012, focusing on building managerial and leadership skills.
In 2019, Karin further enhanced their expertise by studying Leading Innovation Processes at Berghs School of Communication.
To expand their knowledge in sustainability, Karin attended a course on Sustainability and Environmental Issues at Halmstad University in 2020, and later in the same year, they completed an Online Digital Marketing Course at Hyper Island.
Moving forward with their sustainable reporting goals, Karin is planning to pursue a program in Sustainability Reporting at Mälardalen University in 2023.
