Paige Whitlock

Paige Whitlock has been working in education for over 10 years. Paige started as a Secondary Language Arts Coordinator with Fairfax County Public Schools in 2011. In this role, they coordinated curriculum and instruction for 1,000 English Language Arts and dually certified teachers. Paige also conducted reviews of student assessment data and provided feedback to teachers on areas of student growth and struggle.

In 2016, Paige was promoted to Literacy Director for the Residence at NoRedInk. In this role, they manage the literacy budgets for the secondary language arts, Title II secondary literacy, and middle and high school textbook budgets. Paige also co-manages the Fairfax County Public Schools Equitable Access to Literacy Plan.

Paige is passionate about their work and is constantly looking for ways to improve the literacy rates for all students. Paige has facilitated multiple professional learning sessions on new resources and curriculum implementation. As a result of their work, the Virginia End-of-the Course Writing scores rose 7% division wide in 2020.
