Elisa Cencig

Elisa Cencig, PhD, is currently the Head of Policy Engagement and Senior ESG Policy Adviser at Norges Bank Investment Management since November 2022. Prior experience includes various senior roles at the Financial Conduct Authority from January 2020 to November 2022, focusing on financial stability and EU strategy. Cencig also served as Advocacy Manager at the AFME Association for Financial Markets in Europe and completed a traineeship at the European Commission in 2017. Previous positions include research and teaching roles at Risk Control Limited, The London School of Economics and Political Science, and consulting work at Accenture. Cencig holds a PhD in Political Science and Government from The London School of Economics and has multiple degrees in European political studies and political science from prestigious institutions across Europe.
