Markus Bjørkli Jansen

Markus Bjørkli Jansen is a graduate currently working at Norges Bank Investment Management since August 2022, following a summer internship at Multiconsult where research on wave forces on traditional fish farms was conducted. Prior experience includes roles as an Aqua Technician at SalMar, ensuring the safe and effective operation of fish farms, and as a substitute teacher in Berg Municipality School, providing educational support to students and immigrants. Markus's background in the Norwegian Armed Forces as a Special Soldier Aspirant and a Weapon Commander on submarines complements a diverse professional history that began with various roles in Berg kommune. Academically, Markus holds a Master of Science in Industrial Economy and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, along with a Petty Officer qualification from the Norwegian Navy Officer Course.
