Global Co-head Of Unlisted Real Estate at Norges Bank Investment Management

Morten Kampli has an extensive work experience in the finance and investment management industry. Morten is currently serving as the Global Co-Head of Unlisted Real Estate at Norges Bank Investment Management since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Global Head of Unlisted Real Estate (interim) from April 2022 to November 2022.

Before joining Norges Bank Investment Management, Kampli worked as the Head of Risk Analytics - Real Assets from September 2020 to April 2022, and as the Head of Investment Risk - Real Asset Risk from April 2019 to September 2020, both at Norges Bank Investment Management. Morten also served as the Head of Investment Risk at Norges Bank Real Estate Management from September 2017 to April 2019.

Kampli's previous roles include Head of Europe - Real Estate Investment Area at Norges Bank Investment Management from March 2015 to August 2017, Executive Director at Obligo Investment Management from August 2013 to February 2015, and Managing Director and Partner at Realkapital Partners AS from August 2006 to February 2015.

Morten has also worked as the Managing Director at RS Platou Fund Management from January 2012 to October 2013 and as the Head of Investment Strategy and Fund Development at Aberdeen Property Investors from June 2003 to August 2006.

Kampli started their career as an Associate at McKinsey & Company from September 1999 to May 2003. Morten'sdiverse work experience showcases their expertise in investment risk, real estate management, and leadership positions in various financial institutions.

Morten Kampli's education history includes multiple degrees and areas of study. Morten attended the BI Norwegian Business School from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a degree in Siviløkonom with a major in Finance. In 1998, they participated in an exchange program at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they pursued an MBA during their second year. Additionally, in 2004 and 2005, Morten attended NFF/NHH, specializing in Advanced Portfolio Management and focusing on topics such as Portfolio Theory and Investments.
