Benjamin Donald Smith

Benjamin Donald Smith is a seasoned professional in energy research and policy, currently serving as a Senior Adviser at Norges forskningsråd since September 2016, where responsibilities include strategic planning of research grants, evaluation of proposals, and managing ongoing projects in clean energy R&D. Prior experience includes a Senior Adviser role at Nordic Energy Research from January 2009 to September 2016, where Benjamin developed international research projects and led the Nordic Energy Technology Perspectives. Benjamin also completed a two-month secondee position at the International Energy Agency, contributing to influential reports.
