Bella Alvarado has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Bella started their career as a Peer Tutor, providing academic tutoring services. Bella then gained experience as a Teacher and Summer Camp Counselor at the Larkspur Recreation Department, where they developed and revised class curriculums and supervised aides. Bella also had previous internships at Just Business and Not For Sale, where they researched marketing methods, edited websites, and authored white papers on environmental and human impact.

In 2020, Bella held the position of Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, conducting research and analyzing data on food insecurity and transportation impacts. Bella also worked as an Intern at the UCLA Sustainable LA Grand Challenge, focusing on combatting food insecurity at UCLA through research and conducting interviews. Additionally, Bella gained experience as a Summer Intern at the California Ocean Protection Council, where they wrote white papers on the impacts of offshore wind farms and evaluated grant applications.

Most recently, Bella worked as a Project Manager at the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, leading a team in conducting a Cost-Benefit Analysis and GIS project for the non-profit organization Oceanswell. Bella was responsible for creating timelines, maintaining team morale, assigning workloads, coordinating schedules, generating online content, and presenting findings.

Bella's latest work experience is as an Operations Associate at Noria Energy, starting in 2022.

Bella Alvarado completed their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from UCLA from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma from Redwood High School, TUHSD between 2014 and 2018. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Certified Open Water Diver from PADI in July 2018.
