Yoram Cohen is a distinguished and accomplished professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Chairperson and President of Noria Water Technologies, Inc. since 2016, where the focus is on real-time membrane performance monitoring in water purification. With a long-standing career at UCLA since 1981, Yoram Cohen holds the titles of Distinguished Research Professor and Director of the Water Technology Research Center, leading research in advanced water treatment and desalination technologies. In addition to contributions at UCLA, Yoram Cohen co-founded the UCLA/NSF Center on Environmental Implications of Nanotechnology and holds several directorial positions in environmental risk reduction and monitoring research. Yoram Cohen has also been recognized as an AIChE Fellow and has held various visiting positions globally. Educational background includes a Ph.D. from the University of Delaware and multiple degrees from the University of Toronto.
