Morten Bechlund has extensive work experience in various leadership and human resources roles. Morten began their career with the Danish Royal Guards as a Platoon Commander. Morten then worked at Accura as a Project Coordinator, managing a European project. After that, they joined Heidrick & Struggles as a Research Associate, responsible for candidate sourcing and reference checking. In 2006, they joined DISA Industries A/S, where they served as a Personal Assistant to the CEO and later as a Human Resource Manager. Morten also held the position of Interim Group HR Manager, overseeing HR issues and facilitating organizational development. In 2009, Bechlund joined Norican Group as VP & Director of Human Resources Europe, where they developed and implemented HR policies and procedures for EU entities. Morten held various leadership roles within Norican Group, including VP Project Management and VP Talent Management. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Vice President of People & Performance, leading the company's employee engagement initiative.
Morten Bechlund began their education in 1991 by participating in an exchange program at Oak Hills High School. Morten then pursued their high school education from 1992 to 1995 at Albertslund Amts Gymnasium, where they completed their High School General Examination with a focus on Mathematics and English. Following this, Morten enrolled at Copenhagen Business School in 1997 and completed their studies in 2002, earning an M.Sc. degree in Business Administration and Commercial Law.
