Mummoorthy M.

Mummoorthy M. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mummoorthy is currently a Founding Member (Engineering) at Normalyze, where they lead the control plane engineering and actively contributes to product development and team management.

Prior to this, Mummoorthy worked as a Sr. Engineering Manager, Analytics at Workday from 2017 to 2021. In this role, they led the Analytics cloud Infrastructure and Distributed systems team, laying the foundation for Workday's Analytics products.

Before joining Workday, they served as the Architect/Director Of Engineering at C1X Inc., where they focused on building the next-gen SSP and DSP and achieved double-digit performance growth.

Mummoorthy also worked at Netskope as a Principal Software Engineer from 2015 to 2017, where they played a crucial role in architecting multiple components of Netskope's Management Platform (MP) and successfully delivering highly impactful projects in a short time frame.

In addition, they were a Lead Software Engineer (Data) at Turn from 2013 to 2015, where they worked on various aspects of Turn's data management system and designed and implemented features for their customized data warehousing solution.

Prior to that, Mummoorthy worked at Teradata Labs R&D as a Sr. Software Engineer from 2010 to 2013, focusing on designing and developing new features for Teradata's parallel-aware Query Optimizer and as a Research Assistant at Purdue University, conducting research on distributed data mining and data privacy and security for their Ph.D.

Mummoorthy also gained research experience as a Summer Research Intern at IBM Research Labs India in 2008.

Mummoorthy M. has a strong education background in the field of computer science. Mummoorthy obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Purdue University, completing their studies from 2004 to 2010.
