Ismo Haaparanta

Ismo Haaparanta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ismo began their career at Kemira in 1996, holding positions as a Production Engineer, Day Supervisor, and Shift Supervisor. Ismo then worked as the Technical Director at Kemira Kuok Fertilizers in Malaysia from 2000 to 2002. Ismo joined Kemphos Oy as the Managing Director in 2008, which later merged with Yara International ASA. Ismo then served as the Site Manager and later as the CEO at Sydvaranger Gruve AS from 2008 to 2012. Ismo moved on to become the Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Valmet Automotive from 2017 to 2019. Ismo then became the Director of Business Development at E. Hartikainen Oy from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Ismo holds the position of Director of Supply Chain Management at Normet Group starting from 2023.

Ismo Haaparanta obtained a Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering with a specialization in Process Chemistry and Environment from Pori University of Applied Sciences in 1994. Ismo later pursued their eMBA degree in Economics at the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku from 2008 to 2010.
