Mikko Paakkunainen is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering, project management, and IT solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Business IT Solutions Management at Normet Group, Mikko leads the Solutions Management and Data Architecture team, contributing to the organization's innovative efforts in the mining industry. With a robust background that includes leadership roles at MP Coach & Consult, MacGregor, and Midagon, Mikko has a proven track record in digital transformation, enterprise architecture, and business consultancy across various sectors. Previous positions include Head of Project Management Office at Fastems, Business Unit Manager at Empower PN and Comatec Group, and Project Manager at Sandvik Mining & Construction. Mikko holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
