Greg Ray has extensive work experience in finance and operations. Greg started their career as a Project Manager at Rust/Lichliter Jameson in 1995. From 1999 to 2004, they worked as a Corporate Finance Manager at FMC Technologies and Continental Airlines. In 2004, they joined Waste Management as a Sr. Analyst/Capital Analysis Manager and later held roles as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Director of Finance and Strategy (Sales & Marketing), and Sr Director of Operations Analysis (COO's Office). In 2023, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Norrell. Throughout their career, Greg has shown expertise in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.

Greg Ray obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, which they attended from 1986 to 1989. Greg then pursued an MBA in Finance from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, attending from 1997 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Greg Ray has obtained various certifications. In October 2021, they completed "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" certification from LinkedIn. In January 2022, they obtained certifications in "Navigating Environmental Sustainability: A Guide for Leaders," "Fundamentals of Sustainable Supply Chains," "Driving Measurable, Sustainable Change," "Sustainability Strategies," and "The Employee's Guide to Sustainability" from LinkedIn. In February 2022, they completed the certifications for "Executive Presence on Video Conference Calls" and "Sustainability for Design, Construction, and Manufacturing" from LinkedIn. Lastly, in April 2022, they obtained the "PowerPoint Quick Tips" certification from LinkedIn.
