Barbara Szydlarska has diverse work experience in various roles from 2010 to the present. Barbara started their career as an intern in the Political and Economic Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo, where they conducted research and helped organize meetings.
In 2012, they interned at ArcelorMittal France as a Project Team Member, providing research and technical support, and assisting in project proposal development.
Barbara then worked as an Economic and Political Section Assistant at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, where they edited reports, created a database, and drafted communication with government representatives.
From 2014 to 2016, they were an Accountant and Customer Master Data Administrator at Groupe Chimirec. Barbara'sresponsibilities included financial verification, analysis, and reporting, as well as customer service and debt collections. Barbara also led a direct debit process improvement project.
Afterwards, Barbara joined Capgemini as a Finance and Accounting Process Analyst for the Account Receivable French Team. Barbara handled payments allocation, customer master data, and issued sundry invoices. Barbara also contributed to the Bad Debt report and supported the Shared Service Centre and Commercial Team.
In 2018, they became the In-House Finance and Office Manager at Xeilon AS. Barbara managed accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, taxes, and cost control. Barbara also handled administration and office management.
Barbara then worked as a Business Operations Manager at Lithium Werks from 2019 to 2021. Barbara'sresponsibilities included monitoring and improving daily operations, performing cost-benefit analyses, developing policies and processes, and managing financial data. Barbara also performed financial reporting and forecasting, cash management, intercompany consolidation, and payroll.
Currently, Barbara is a General Accountant at Norrøna Sport AS, where they are involved in various accounting tasks.
Barbara Szydlarska has a diverse education history. Barbara began their education at III Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Bohaterów Westerplatte w Gdańsku, where they obtained their high school diploma in 2005. Barbara then attended the University of Gdansk from 2006 to 2010 and earned a Bachelor's degree in economics. During this time, they also studied law at the same university from 2005 to 2008.
Barbara furthered their education at Universite de Lorraine from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in social sciences. Barbara then returned to the University of Gdansk and pursued a Master's degree in international business, which they completed from 2010 to 2012.
In 2015, Barbara enrolled at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers to pursue a Diploma in Accounting and Business Management, which they completed in 2016.
More recently, Barbara has been studying to become a CIMA Candidate (Operational level) at CIMA, a program they started in 2020 and is expected to finish in 2023.
Aside from their formal education, Barbara has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they obtained the Norskprøve 3 certification from Kompetanse Norge. In 2015, they received various certifications from CNAM, including CFA001: Comptabilité et gestion de l'entreprise, CFA002: Comptabilité et gestion de l'entreprise 2, and DRA100: Principes généraux de fiscalité des entreprises CO. Additionally, they hold a certification as a licensed lifeguard and is a member of the International Life Saving organization, which they obtained in 2005 through the WOPR - Water Rescue Service.
