Following this, they enrolled at Stabekk Videregående skole from 1994 to 1996 and pursued an Allmennfaglig studieretning with a specialization in French and English.

In 1997 and 1998, Karianne attended Norges Markedshøyskole (Handelshøyskolen BI) in Oslo, where they completed Grunnfag Markedsøkonomi for their Bachelor of International Marketing (BIM) degree. Karianne continued their studies at the same institution from 1998 to 1999, focusing on Markedsføring og internasjonalisering.

In the academic year 1999-2000, Karianne studied at École Supérieure de Commerce de Grenoble, where they pursued a Bachelor of International Marketing in the Franco-Norwegian Marketing program.
