Lóránt Besnyi

Lóránt Besnyi has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Lóránt is currently the Head of GBS Finance Global Hub Hungary at Norsk Hydro. Prior to this, they worked at MET Group as the Group SSC Accounting Lead, managing accounting services for group entities. Before that, they were the GBS Head of Accounting & Tax at MOL Magyarország, responsible for the accounting and tax function for MOL Plc. and other subsidiaries. Earlier in their career, they held management positions at Avis Budget Group EMEA, Wolseley, Accenture, Ernst & Young, and Andersen. Lóránt began their career at PwC as an Associate/Manager. Throughout their career, Lóránt has been involved in financial and business enhancement projects, work transfers, system implementations, and finance performance projects. Lóránt also has experience in driving change projects and Lean transformation.

Lóránt Besnyi completed an Executive Management Class at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2006. In 1999, they obtained a CPA degree from Saldo, and in 2000, they became a Tax Advisor. Lóránt also earned a BSC and MSC in Economics from the University of Pécs from 1991 to 1997. Recently, in 2017, they attended the SEED School for Executive Education and Development for a Leadership Program.
