Pål Knutzen

Pål Knutzen has extensive work experience in the tax industry. Pål started their career as an Attorney at law at Orkla ASA from July 2006 to January 2008. Pål then became the SVP Tax at Orkla ASA from February 2008 to August 2013. After that, they joined Sapa as the Tax Director for Norway and Western Europe from September 2013 to September 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Tax Europe and Middle East at Norsk Hydro since October 2017.

Pål Knutzen pursued their education at the University of Oslo Faculty of Law from 1980 to 1986, where they earned a degree in Law, specifically a Cand. jur. degree. In 1984, they briefly attended the University of Oregon School of Law, focusing on contract law, torts, and civil procedure.
