Preben R.

Preben R. has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Preben started their career in 1996 at NordPool ASA as a Manager in Derivates Markets. Later, they joined Enron in 1998 as a Manager until 2001. In 2002, they worked at Aquila Nordic Energy as the Head of Trading and then moved to NENA as the Director of Business Development. From 2004 to 2005, they were the Head of Dry Bulk Desk at Imarex. Preben then worked at The Torvald Klaveness Group as a Trading Manager from 2005 to 2012. Preben R. joined Eastern Bulk Carriers in 2012 as the Manager of FFA Trading. Since then, they have held various roles at Norsk Hydro, including Head of Risk Management from 2014 to 2019 and then again from 2021, Head of Controlling & Analysis from 2018 to 2019, and Head of Strategic Finance from 2019 to 2021.

Preben R. obtained an MSc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde in 1994-1995. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance at BI Norwegian Business School from 1990 to 1993.
