Rolf Torgeir Aase

Rolf Torgeir Aase has extensive work experience in the legal field. Rolf Torgeir started their career as an Associate Lawyer at Thommessen, where they worked from January 2004 to May 2007. Rolf Torgeir then joined Norsk Hydro as a VP and Legal Counsel/Advokat MNA. In this role, they served as the Lead Counsel for the business area Primary Metal, overseeing various legal aspects such as M&A, Capital Markets, Finance, Corporate, Commercial, Joint Ventures, and Construction. Additionally, they held board memberships in Hydro Aluminium AS, Hycast AS, and Qatar Aluminium Limited, and served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Slovalco a.s.

Rolf Torgeir Aase has a diverse education background. In 1994, they attended the Officer's Training School for the Army in Norway and obtained the rank of Second Lieutenant. From 1996 to 2002, they pursued their higher education at the University of Oslo, completing their Cand Jur (Master of Laws) degree. Additionally, in 2001 and 2002, they studied at King's College London, where they earned a Master of Laws - LLM degree with a focus on International Business Law.
