Cathrine Brecke Gundersen

Cathrine Brecke Gundersen is a researcher at NIVA - Norsk institutt for vannforskning since September 2018, focusing on environmental studies. Prior experience includes a PhD candidacy at the University of Oslo from January 2013 to June 2018, where 75% of efforts were dedicated to research on the fate of selected nitramines related to post-combustion CO2 capture using amines, and 25% to teaching. Earlier roles included a project position in water analysis at Norsk Institutt for Vannforskning (August 2012) and various positions at Vinmonopolet and the University of Oslo while completing degrees. Gundersen holds a PhD in Chemistry and a master's degree in Environmental Analysis, both from the University of Oslo, along with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the same institution and an exchange degree in Environmental Chemistry from UNSW in 2009.
