Matthew Simones

Matthew Simones is a Principal Test Engineer at Nortek Air Solutions, LLC since June 2021, previously holding multiple engineering roles within the same company from June 2014 to August 2018. Simones has served as Adjunct Faculty at Minnesota State University, Mankato, teaching courses in Automotive Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering from 2017 to December 2023, following a tenure as Assistant Professor in Automotive & Manufacturing Engineering Technology from August 2018 to June 2021. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Additional experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship focused on aerosol measurement techniques and roles in quality inspection and research assistant positions early in the career.
