Sonia Rocha has significant work experience, starting in 1994 as a Visiting Scholar at the Environmental Law Institute. Sonia then worked as a Volunteer at the Institute of Brazilian Issues - George Washington University in 1995. In that same year, they also worked as an Attorney at Cameron & Hornbostel. From 1996 to 1998, they were an Attorney at Tavares Guerreiro Advogados. Rocha then joined Dewey & LeBoeuf as an Associate in 1998, where they remained until 2011.
