Jerry Daniel

Director Of Missional Engagement - Pastor Relations Team at North American Mission Board

Jerry Daniel has over 40 years of work experience in various roles related to church ministry and missions. Jerry most recently worked for the North American Mission Board as the Director of Missional Engagement - Pastor Relations Team, where they helped pastors discover their next missional steps and provided support and guidance. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Church Mobilization and the Director of LoveLoud Team at the same organization.

Before joining the North American Mission Board, Jerry worked as the Minister of Spiritual Growth at Grove Avenue Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia from 2007 to 2012. Jerry also served as the Director of Church and Partner Services at the International Mission Board, SBC from 2001 to 2006 and as the Vice President for Church Ministries at Global Focus, Inc from 1997 to 2001.

Jerry's work experience also includes serving as an Associate Pastor at Clairmont Hills Baptist Church in Decatur, GA from 1992 to 1996 and as an Associate Pastor, Worship and Music at Piedmont Baptist Church in Marietta, GA from 1978 to 1992. Overall, Jerry Daniel has a strong background in church ministry, missions, and supporting pastors and churches in their missional efforts.

Jerry Daniel attended Mercer University in Atlanta from 1970 to 1974, where they obtained a Bachelor of Church Music degree. Jerry then pursued further education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1974 to 1978, completing a Master of Church Music degree with a specialization in Music, Worship, and Leadership.
