Olivier Girardeau

Olivier Girardeau currently serves as the Director of Sustainable Finance and International Affairs at the Autorité des marchés financiers in Québec, where responsibilities include oversight and supervision of sustainable finance initiatives. With a career spanning various roles within the organization since 2017, Olivier has also contributed as a Senior Advisor and Analyst in multiple divisions. Additional leadership positions include serving as a Board Member at the Agence de mobilité durable de Montréal and participating in committees for the International Organization of Securities Commissions and NASAA focused on sustainable finance and corporate governance. A lawyer by profession since 2016, Olivier has practiced in several law firms and completed internships at various financial institutions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from Université de Montréal and additional certifications in securities law from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Law School and York University - Osgoode Hall Law School.
