Laura Walker, CAE

Laura Walker, CAE has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Laura most recently worked at the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) where they held the positions of Chief Media & Sales Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales & Publishing. Prior to that, they worked at Bonnier Corporation, where they served as Group Publisher for the Dive & Travel Group and the Travel Group. Laura also held the role of Vice President of Digital & Strategy for the Active Interest Network at Bonnier Corporation. Before their time at Bonnier, they worked at Rodale as an Online Manager and Online Editor. Laura's career started at CNN, where they worked as a Video Journalist.

Laura Walker, CAE, completed their undergraduate education at The University of Georgia from 1991 to 1995. During this time, they obtained an ABJ (Bachelor of Arts in Journalism) degree with a focus on Telecommunication Arts, as well as an AB (Bachelor of Arts) degree with a focus on Sociology.

In addition to their formal education, Laura has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In August 2020, they earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. Prior to that, in December 2020, Laura completed a certification in Building Resilience through LinkedIn. Laura also obtained certifications in Cultivating a Growth Mindset in November 2020, Strategic Thinking in August 2020, and Allyship in action in July 2020, all from LinkedIn.
