Donte Robinson

Donte Robinson, Ed.D, M.MEd, serves as the Assistant Band Director and Rehearsal Director at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University since August 2007, providing musical instruction and support to the Director of Bands. In addition to academic roles, Donte has been a Specialist (E4) musician in the United States Army Reserves since March 2009. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Bands at Ben L. Smith High School from July 2020 to October 2024 and Franklin City Public Schools from August 2016 to July 2020, where musical instruction encompassed music theory, history, and performance preparation. Donte has also held positions as Band Director at Hairston Middle School (October 2012 - June 2015) and Teaching Assistant at General Greene Elementary (August 2010 - October 2012). Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Performance Improvement Leadership from Capella University and a Master of Education in Music from Tarleton State University.
