Brooke Csuka has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Brooke is currently working as the Section Chief of Editorial & Graphic Design at the North Carolina Museum of History, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Outreach Archivist at the State Archives of North Carolina from May 2021 to June 2023.

Before their work in the public sector, Brooke worked as a Graduate Library Assistant at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from 2018 to 2020. Brooke also has experience in the publishing industry, having served as a Senior Publicist at Algonquin Books from 2013 to 2018, where they successfully managed publicity campaigns for various fiction and nonfiction titles.

Additionally, they worked as a Publicist at John F. Blair, Publisher from 2010 to 2013, and as a Publications Editor at Corporate Executive Board from 2008 to 2009. Brooke has also gained international experience through their role as an Assistante d'Anglais at Lycée Gambetta in 2006.

Their early career included roles as an Assistant at Wake Forest Museum of Anthropology from 2002 to 2006 and as an Intern & Contract Writer at the American Foreign Service Association in 2005.

Brooke Csuka completed their Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts in English from Wake Forest University between 2002 and 2006. In addition, they pursued a Certificate in Graphic Design from Wake Technical Community College from 2013 to 2015. Brooke Csuka completed their high school education at Western Guilford High School, although the exact years were not specified.
