Patrice Bethea

Patrice Bethea has a diverse work experience in communications and marketing roles. From 2019 to present, they have worked as the Deputy Communications Director at the North Carolina Department of Commerce. Prior to that, they worked as the Communications Manager for the State of North Carolina from 2016 to 2019, where they developed and executed communications plans for the Division of Motor Vehicles. Patrice also served as the lead spokesperson, wrote news releases and speeches, managed social media content, and updated website content. From 2008 to 2016, Patrice worked as the North Hills Marketing Manager at Kane Realty Corporation, and from 2007 to 2008, they were a Residential Marketing Assistant at Kane Residential. In these positions, they executed marketing plans, managed calendars, reconciled invoices, and coordinated events.

Patrice Bethea obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications & Journalism from Shaw University, where they attended from 2003 to 2007.
