Theresa Avery

Theresa Avery has extensive experience in the insurance and media industries, having worked at North Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company since November 2000. Currently serving as Supervisor of the County Office Support Unit and Resource Development Unit Supervisor, Theresa oversees a team of corporate trainers and leads corporate training initiatives. Previous roles included Resource Specialist and Corporate Trainer. Prior to this, Theresa worked at Capitol Broadcasting Inc. from July 1995 to January 2000, where a career in television progressed from intern to TV News Producer and weekend supervisor. Theresa holds a degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, obtained in 1997.
