Perry Hurt

Director of Conservation at North Carolina Museum of Art

Perry Hurt is the Director of Conservation at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Perry has been with the museum since September 1998, and has been in their current position since October 2008. Their responsibilities include the preservation and restoration of artwork.

Perry Hurt received their BA in Art Theirtory from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. Perry then went on to receive their MS in Art Conservation from the University of Delaware in 1996. Perry has been a professional art conservator for over 20 years.

Perry Hurt attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Their manager is Valerie Hillings, Director & CEO. They work with Jenny Crow - Business & Personnel Officer, Moses T. Alexander Greene - Director of Film & Performing Arts, and Linda Dougherty - Chief Curator & Curator of Contemporary Art.
