Lisa Herzog serves as the Paleontology Operations Manager at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences since June 2012, providing technical expertise and managerial support for the Paleontology Division, including specimen care, collections storage, and research. Prior roles include Operations Manager and Chief Preparator at the Paleontology Research Lab, where Lisa played a key role in fostering a team-centered environment and leading outreach initiatives. Lisa's earlier experience includes freelance fossil preparation and positions at The Field Museum, where responsibilities involved the preparation of vertebrate fossils. Lisa holds a Master's Degree in Zoology/Paleontology from North Carolina State University, a Master's in Sociology from DePaul University, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Western Illinois University.
