Mara Dorsch Larson

Mara Larson is a skilled professional in public health and business intelligence with extensive experience in data analysis and program development. Currently serving as a Business Intelligence Developer at the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer since November 2019, Mara focuses on the North Carolina State Health Plan. Previously, at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services from July 2008 to November 2019, Mara held roles as an Epidemiologist II in the Communicable Disease Branch and a Public Health Program Consultant in the Immunization Branch, contributing to disease prevention efforts and managing data for the CDC. Earlier experience includes roles at Northrop Grumman Corporation as an Administrative Analyst Associate and at the International Life Sciences Institute as a Contract Project Manager. Mara holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from North Carolina State University.
