Linda Charlton is the current Vice President for Marketing & Audience Development at the North Carolina Symphony. Linda has over 20 years of experience in the arts and marketing industry.

Linda began their career as the Executive Director and General Manager of the Durham Symphony in 1996. Linda then became the Vice President of Marketing at the North Carolina Symphony in 1997 and held that position for 11 years. In 2008, they left the North Carolina Symphony to become the Director of Marketing at the Durham Performing Arts Center, where they worked for four years.

Charlton is a highly respected leader in the arts community and has been recognized for their innovative marketing strategies. Linda is a strong advocate for the arts and believes that they play a vital role in society.

Linda Charlton received a type of piano performance and psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Linda studied piano performance and psychology and then went on to teach these subjects at the university level.
