Brigid Troan is a seasoned veterinary professional with extensive experience in clinical and diagnostic pathology. Currently serving as a Clinical Veterinarian at North Carolina State University- College of Veterinary Medicine since October 2022, Brigid has also been a Diagnostic Pathologist at the North Carolina Zoo since September 2005 and an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina State University, conducting seminars and teaching veterinary students and residents. Previous roles include Toxicologic Pathologist at Integrated Laboratory Systems, LLC from May 2021 to September 2022, and Clinical Instructor at North Carolina State University from September 2015 to August 2019, where Brigid led training in anatomic pathology and poultry histopathology. Educational credentials include a DVM in Veterinary Medicine and a residency in Anatomic Pathology from North Carolina State University, complemented by a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
