Erik Hall

Erik Hall has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Erik currently works at North Carolina's Electric Cooperatives as the Director of Energy Services & Technology, where they are responsible for providing recommendations for pilot and permanent programs that demonstrate cost avoidance, revenue generation, or educational opportunities. Erik also oversees the implementation of Energy Services & Technology programs.

Prior to their current role, Erik worked at North Carolina State University as the Director of Energy Management and as a Distribution Engineer. Erik has also held positions at Ubuntu Football Trust, where they served as the Director of Operations and Construction Manager, and at North Carolina State University as a Utilities and Engineering Services Plant Engineer.

Erik's early career includes experience in the US Navy, where they served as a Section Head in the Navy Component Test and Evaluation Directorate and as a Department Head on the USS KEY WEST and USS Albany. Erik also served as an Assistant Professor of Naval Science at Georgia Tech NROTC and held various roles on the USS San Francisco and USS Albany.

Additionally, Erik has worked as a Cooperative Student Engineer at Yamaha and Michelin, where they gained experience in manufacturing engineering and general engineering, respectively. Erik Hall's education history includes a range of certifications and degrees in various fields. In 1992, they enrolled at Georgia Institute of Technology and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Bio-Mechanics. Their GPA during this period was 3.47, earning him High Honors. Following this, from 1999 to 2001, Erik pursued certification in the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program and Prospective Engineer School, specializing in Naval Nuclear Power Plant Supervisor and Engineer.

In 2002, Erik attended the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, where they completed their Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a GPA of 3.9. During this time, their field of study revolved around Organizational Behavior and International Studies. Erik's pursuit of knowledge continued in 2008 when they undertook a certification program at the Defense Acquisition University. Erik earned certifications in Program Management Level I and Test and Evaluation Level I.
