Cody Miller

Cody Miller currently serves as the Assistant Fire Chief at Denton County ESD No. 1, a position held since August 2021, and also works as an EMS Instructor at North Central Texas College since July 2014. Previous experience includes roles as a Firefighter/Paramedic at Krum Fire Department from April 2007 to June 2022, with additional positions at Argyle Fire District from February 2009 to December 2021, encompassing titles such as Division Chief of EMS and Training, EMS Captain, EMS Lieutenant, and Firefighter/Paramedic. From January 2011 to July 2014, Cody worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic at Coppell Fire Department and served as a School Bus Driver for Denton ISD from June 2003 to June 2009. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas, a Master's in Public Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington, and two Associate of Applied Science degrees in Paramedicine and Fire Protection and Safety Technology obtained from North Central Texas College and Weatherford College, respectively.
