Zach Hirsch

Zach Hirsch is an experienced journalist and audio producer with a diverse background in public radio and sound design. Current roles include Series Reporter at North Country Public Radio, where Zach launched a new series focused on politics and misinformation, and Daily News Editor at KUOW Public Radio, overseeing a remote team of reporters. Freelance work for NPR and other outlets includes reporting and producing sound-rich features. Previous positions highlight skills in sound design and episode production for various narrative series. Zach holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Vermont and has pursued continuing education in storytelling and audio production.
