Trey Everette

Trey Everette is the current Technology Director at North East Carolina Prep School. Prior to their current position, they worked as the Application Support Infrastructure Lead at SPARC, LLC from July 2011 to August 2012. In this role, they were responsible for Veterans Administration (VA) Infrastructure and Application support, primarily the development, test and production systems for the Veterans Benefits Management System.

Everette has a wealth of experience in managing applications and infrastructure. Their previous role saw him responsible for the deployment, support, and maintenance of cloud-hosted virtual infrastructure including over 80 Microsoft/Linux operating systems, as well as WebLogic, FileNet, and Oracle systems. Trey has also designed and implemented multiple Active Directory domains for Production and Testing environments.

In addition, Everette has experience in Disaster Recovery infrastructure build-out, testing and documentation. Trey has also led Information Assurance mitigation and remediation efforts, resulting in the attainment of an ATO. Their other notable experience includes Configuration Management including asset and configuration item tracking, Tier 3 application triage and resolution, and coordinating and managing planned downtime for system upgrades/maintenance.

At SPARC, LLC., Everette also managed the daily work activities of 10 Tier 3 System Engineers. Trey prepared and delivered monthly data tracking of personnel activities and project deliverables for government reporting. Trey Everette has a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance from Western Governors University and a BS in Business Administration/Computer Information Systems from North Carolina Wesleyan University.
