Dee Hitter's work experience is as follows:

- From November 2022 till present, they worked as the Head of Environmental Sustainability at North East Lincolnshire Council.

- From July 2019 till present, they held the position of Principal Environmental Health Officer (Port) at the same council.

- From October 2012 till present, they worked as a Port and Environmental Health Officer at North East Lincolnshire Council.

- From March 2011 to October 2012, they worked as an Environmental Health Officer at North Lincolnshire Council.

- From July 2010 to March 2011, they worked as a Student Environmental Health Officer at North Lincolnshire Council.

Dee Hitter obtained a Bachelor's Degree in LLB Law from Nottingham Law School, graduating in 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Public and Environmental Health at Leeds Beckett University from 2009 to 2011. Currently, Dee is enrolled in the University of Hull for a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship in Business Management, starting in 2020.
