Tony Young

Tony Young is an experienced education professional with a strong background in music and curriculum management. Since February 2014, Tony has held the position of Curriculum Manager at North East Scotland College, focusing on Music, Sound Production, 3D Animation, and Drama, while also serving as Curriculum and Quality Manager. In conjunction with this role, Tony has been a Qualification Support Consultant and External Verifier for the Scottish Qualifications Authority since May 2006, contributing to course design and ensuring assessment standards across the country. Additionally, Tony has maintained a freelance career as a composer and producer since 2000 and previously held various roles at Aberdeen College from 2001 to 2014, including Curriculum Leader and Senior Lecturer. Tony’s educational qualifications include a Master of Music from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Education from Northern College of Education.
