Dr Saumya Shankar Chowdhury

Dr. Saumya Shankar Chowdhury is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the Deputy General Manager (M&HS) at North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (Neepco) since 2005, overseeing health services at AGTCCPP and TGBP Tripura, as well as managing the Medical Wing at the Guwahati Office. Dr. Chowdhury's extensive background includes roles as Chief Medical Officer with previous experience in hospital management in DHEP, Wokha, Nagaland, and as a resident surgeon in various hospitals, including DR Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Lady Hardinge Medical College. Educational achievements include an MBBS from Assam Medical College, a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine and a DFID in Diabetes from Christian Medical College, as well as ongoing studies toward MRCP Part 1 in Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians in England.
