Shane Slattery

Shane Slattery is an experienced professional in the power and grid integration sector, currently serving as the Director of Power and Grid Integration at North Harbour Clean Energy since August 2025. Prior roles include Head of Grid at Elgin Energy and various positions at Transgrid, including A/Network Connections Manager and Principal Engineer, spanning from September 2017 to July 2022. Shane's experience also encompasses work at National Grid as a Power System Engineer and Power System Support Engineer, and at EirGrid as an Electrical Engineer focused on Power System Protection and Metering. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Sustainable Electrical Power Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Renewable and Electrical Energy Systems from the Limerick Institute of Technology, along with a Craft Apprenticeship as an Electrician from Waterford Institute of Technology.
