Karrie Bowers

Karrie Bowers (Pence) has a diverse work experience in various roles related to business intelligence and consulting in the healthcare industry. Karrie started their career as a Fund Accountant at State Street Corporation in 2009. In 2010, they joined McGladrey as a Health Care Consulting Associate, where they prepared Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, consulted with clients on financial performance strategies, and assisted with audits. Karrie was later promoted to the role of Health Care Consulting Supervisor, where they reviewed and prepared cost reports, consulted with clients, and assisted with audits until December 2015. From December 2015 to September 2018, Karrie worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst - Decision Support at North Kansas City Hospital. Karrie then served as a Business Intelligence Supervisor, managing the daily work of the Business Intelligence Analyst and coordinating the workload of budget liaisons. In November 2020, they were promoted to the role of Director of Business Intelligence, where they led organizational efforts to increase stakeholder use of cost information for decision making.

Karrie Bowers (Pence) attended the University of Central Missouri from 2005 to 2009, specializing in Accounting. Karrie also studied at Central Missouri State University during the same period and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Accounting.
